Ive been so absent, ive beenn just crazy busy and battling with some personal issues lately. Im going to try to do better around here.
I know i missed a few kits coming out, so head over to FlowerScraps and see whats going on over there.

Gratitude, a miss matched collab freebie kit(s)!

Well, I have a funny story to share with you that goes along with this new kit. Several Weeks ago De aka Flower Scraps and I decided to do a collab. I sent her over some color swatches along with some possible names of kits. Well, there were two color swatches with the same name a Gratitude and a Gratitude 2. She wrote back and said she really like the Gratitude colors and thought we should go with that. Sounded good to me, so we both went on our merry ways creating our kits. Well, she sent me her previews and I wasn’t quite done with my kit so I didn’t look. I didn’t want her previews to persuade me into changing what I already had done. Once I was done, I finally pulled up her previews and kept looking at it. Something was different. I couldn’t figure out how she could have gotten some of the colors of her papers and elements with the colors we were using. It finally dawned on me to go take a peak at all the color swatches I sent to her. Well, I looked and realized that I used the Gratitude 1 swatch and she used the Gratitude 2 swatch. I just sat there and laughed and laughed! To me it was so funny. So, while this is meant to be a collab, it’s actually ended up being two separate kits with the same name. Too funny!

What si funny to me, is im on the creative team for both Kathy and De! Lucky me

As you can see, BOTH are beautiful Kits, containing an alpha each. I didnt have tons of time to use them at the moment, But i know ill go back to them, how perfect are thease fall kits for Thanksgiving and family get togethers. Make me think of hot cocoa on a cold day.

Slow and Slower

Hey all! I wanted to pop in and let everyone know whats up.

 

Well all three of my designers are taking a break! Jodi of Throwing some scraps around has been having some problems and has been offline for over a month now. Deanna of FlowerScraps is adjusting to life as a mom of many! And she just had a baby, she needs a break! And Kathy of The Latest Scoop Too is just taking a break. So its not that my scrapping has dissapeared, its just that all my designers are on break!

As for me, i havent done much scrapping because my husband accidentally formatted the drive with all of my scrapping kitsw on it. and im slowly building back up. Ive also been doing alot of work on my knitting, which ive been selling. And frankly getting used to three kids is alot for me at the moment! Chasse has started smiling and hes such a sweetie, its hard to take the attention off of him!

Not to mention Tomorrow i have oral surgery and fully expect to be down for a good week. Last time i had my wisdom teeth out, and it was really rough, this time, i have three kids, and three extractions ( due to said children) and i expect it to be a rough week on my own with them. Before i was a teenager and just slept, now i have to function. No fun at all!

So hopefully after all is said and done, things will pick up again.
